TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective 22 September 2026. These terms cover buying from this site. Placing an order means you accept them. The store is operated by Neotropical Records, in Australia.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars. We are not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged and prices are the full amount payable.
Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe. Your order is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment, not when you press the button. Prices are resolved by our server at the moment of checkout, from the published price of the item. If a price is displayed incorrectly because of a technical fault, we will contact you before charging you, and you can cancel.
Digital items
When you buy a download you get a personal, non-transferable licence to keep and listen to the file. You may not resell it, redistribute it, upload it to streaming or download services, or use it in a film, advertisement, game, video or any other production without written permission.
Nothing in a sale transfers ownership of the recording, the composition, the artwork or any other right. Those stay with the copyright holders. For synchronisation, licensing or sample clearance enquiries, email vinnyvegas.music@protonmail.com. Download links expire after seven days; ask and we will issue new ones.
Physical items
Items are described and photographed as accurately as we can manage. Screens vary and printed colour differs from what you see, and slight variation between individual printed or pressed items is normal rather than a fault.
Stock is limited and checked when you check out. If an item sells out between you adding it and paying, the checkout will refuse rather than take money for something we cannot send.
Returns and refunds
Your rights under Australian law come first. Goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If an item is faulty, significantly different from its description, or does not do what it is supposed to do, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure, and to have the problem fixed in a reasonable time for a minor one. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing in these terms limits any of that.
Beyond those rights: for faulty, damaged or incorrect items, email vinnyvegas.music@protonmail.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. We will replace the item or refund you, including postage. You do not need to return a damaged item unless we ask.
We do not accept returns for change of mind. We are a small operation with short print runs, and a returned item usually cannot be sold again. Check the size guide before ordering, and ask us if you are unsure.
Downloads cannot be returned once the file has been downloaded, because there is nothing to give back. If a file is corrupt, will not play, or is the wrong track, tell us and we will fix it or refund you. That is a fault, and your rights above apply to it in full.
Refunds go back to the card that paid. Stripe processing times, not ours, decide how long the money takes to appear.
Cancelling an order
Email us as soon as you can. If the parcel has not been posted, we will cancel and refund it. Once it is with Australia Post we cannot recall it.
The site itself
We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove products, prices and content without notice. Changes do not affect orders already paid for. The site, its design, its code, the artwork and the music are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse them beyond what the law allows without permission.
Liability
Except for the consumer guarantees described above, which we do not and cannot exclude, our liability for any problem with an order is limited to replacing the item or refunding what you paid for it.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Australian Capital Territory, and any dispute goes to the courts of that jurisdiction. If something has gone wrong, email us first. Most things get sorted that way.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it.
